[FF:The New Empire Part 1]

Nicely done. Tweens need a bit more work though.

The stlye gets a 6 because after all, its still final fantasy, and the whole empire is brainwashing everyone into slaves has been done before dont you think? Its still a decent story worth checking out. The sprites are animated smoothly enough, but I noticed some of the tweens are a little off. Mainly in the battle with the 2 soldiers, theres some collision problems, someone was overlapping someone else in one part. Fix that up, and keep going. 4/5

Whats up though with the lack of those custom sprites I sent you? I mean, if you werent gonna bother using them you should've just declined my offer. I was really looking forward to seeing them, and now I have to cry myself to sleep.

Personal comments aside, the movie still kicked ass. The animation was decent, but I felt that the talking parts were way too slow. it could be just because I am a damn fast reader, but the text is only stuff like "We must get to point B and defeat someone", Its not a big deal if I dont read it all. Text boxes would be a big help for the slower people, (and there are alot of slow people on NG). It would lower the file size because theres less frames needed. Keep the good work up both of you.

Decent talent put to waste by some bad writing.

And not just the normal bad writing that seems to plague the new simpsons episodes, Im talking the kind of writing that starts off crap, and ends even crappier. The biggest flaw in the jokes is that they are so fucking goddam shit on a stick predictable. Want a good example? Look at the salad part, Wayne starts rambling on his hatred of salad and that no one should get it at a theatre, Halfway through I could tell that the girl was going to ask for a salad. Wow! Great writing there, I totally didnt see it coming! /sarcasm. What is it with you and your possie of toadies constantly ripping off sitcoms? I really hated the way you ripped off SNL's celebrity Jeopardy! Want to know why it was funny on SNL? BECAUSE IT WAS STILL ORIGINAL AND THEY ACTUALLY THOUGHT IT UP THEMSELVES!

Oh and the part with the elf trying to win his girlfreind back, that was so predictable it wasnt funny. And Im not saying that as a cliched line, it seriously wasnt funny!

Punchlines need help to make them funnier. People dont necissarly laugh at a punchline unless there is a good buildup. What you need to do is have the characters have more impact on the joke. Heres a good example, when young sauron is saying hes going to keep away from the ring, I could predict he was going to literally step away. What would have made me laugh is if he had stepped so far back he would have went outside the school. I would have laughed even harder if he had commented on this, something like "What the...? How the hell do I keep doing that?"

Or how about before the flashback when Sauron kept repeating yesterday, I would have laughed if the other guy Melkor had cut in and said "Dude, stop saying that youre scaring me" "Dont ruin my moment!", or something like that.

I think what I'm trying to say is, you cant write. Am I better an animator than you? Probably not (even though you always seem to have the work divided with someone) But do I need to be better than you to tell you that your not funny? Fuck no! Please write scripts that are funnier! and try to come up with your own damn jokes from time to time!

Great work, im waiting patiently for the sequel..

The movie was funny, and the voice acting was some of the best I've seen in a flash video as of recent. There are a few animations that were a little off, the big one I can think of is when Vince chopped off Lucca's head. I think you should work on the falling animation, speed it up a little.

Other than that, great work and keep it up.

The other half disagreed, but thats the side my beer affects so I dont listen to it anyways...

Oh, and the movie was also bad. Trying to pass off a bad script by having foamy complain about the bad script does not change the fact that its a bad script. Now its just a bad script only more blatant.

[Knuckles Adventure 8]

WOAH! Whats with all the characters???

Watching this movie, I had to constantly check the credits to make sure this was Knuckles adventure, because knuckles has roughly 45% of the spotlight, when it shouldve been a hell of alot more. The problem? Too many characters!

By the time Sonic came in, I thought that was enough and to leave it there. Now we have Ganondorf playing pool with some lady for no apparent reason, two Sonics, Amy, A Pikachu, Flare,........you get the picture.

Please, in the name of all things holy, find a way to cut down on characters, I guarentee the length of the movie will greatly increase. I would rather see an actual adventure than a bunch of undynamic characters standing around talking to eachother.

If youre wondering why the file size was so huge. Its probably because you overused the paintbrush tool. The paintbrush, while it gives a bit more of a style then the pencil, its hell on the kb. I recommend you draw the backgrounds in pencil tool, and use the brush just for the characters. I guarentee the file size will drop.

I see a lot of potential here.

I thought this movie was extremely funny, the voice acting, while its not movie class. It aint half bad. The whole retarded voice works well for Harry. I laughed a few times, like the radio joke for one, and the pedophile Link was pretty funny too.

However, you need to work harder on your drawings. The backgrounds do a good enough job, but I think youre overusing the gradient, gradient is basically a shiny version of a regular colour. Also, I can tell you didnt look at a picture of the shield or sword while you drew, I suppose it bears a resemblance to them, but trust me, finding a picture for reference makes all the difference. Also, take a bit of time to draw the monsters and such, a big grey blob doesnt look much like a ghost, if that is what you were trying to make it look like.
Also, The text didnt always coincide with what the characters were saying, you should really fix that up.

If you look at my movies, you would see graphics arent on my important list either. The fact is, this movie is damn funny. And I hope to see the next one come out.

Haha! yeah the subtitles didn't make sense at some parts because i changed the voices. It's really now there just for people with out speakers.
